The GES board is diligently making plans for our AGM. We are preparing reports on a year of emerging and re-engaging with each other on Gabriola. As we build the agenda for the meeting, which focuses on our reports and electing the new board, we want to extend an opportunity to our membership to add important items. If you have such an item, please contact Lisa Millard at communications@gabriolaecumenical.com by Tuesday, October 6 to inquire about the process outlined in our bylaws.
We are also receiving nominations for new board members – in particular we are seeking someone comfortable with technology to take on the role of communications. The board (minimum of 5 people) meets four times a year to tend to the big picture and finances of GES.
