It was a beautiful afternoon in March when a group of over 45 Spirit Quest members and friends gathered at the Netloft to listen to a band of multi-instrumentalists and singers known as The Awakeneers.
The stated official mission of the band is to embody light, love and truth – for the benefit of all beings AND they were certainly true to their mission. The Awakeneers are a family group with a father along with his three sons representing one family and two sisters representing another family. They are all skilled instrumentalists playing a wide range of musical instruments, they compose their own songs which they sing beautifully and they have toured in Canada as well as the US and Europe.
Everyone in attendance was captivated by the talent, the musical versatility of the musicians as they played their many instruments and by the messages they conveyed through the songs they had written. The Awakeneers certainly fulfilled their goal which was to provide a concert that aims to give a gift of inspiration, joy and recognition that supports the individual’s journey on the Way, whatever path they may be taking.
